Players travel between eight ocean checkpoints, solving challenges involving colours, numbers, shapes, animals and simple problem-solving.
The game includes flexible difficulty settings, optional sound, adjustable animation and an untimed mode.
Whether you use a mouse, touchscreen or keyboard, everyone can take part in the adventure.

How to Play Ocean Adventure Trail
- Choose your difficulty level.
- Select a timer or choose No Timer.
- Press Start Ocean Adventure.
- Visit the first ocean checkpoint.
- Read the challenge and choose an answer.
- Earn ocean stars for correct answers.
- Continue to the next checkpoint.
- Complete all eight checkpoints to finish.
- Celebrate your achievement with a printable certificate.
Accessible Ocean Adventure Controls
- Use a mouse or touchscreen to select answers.
- Use Tab to move between buttons.
- Press Enter or Space to choose an answer.
- Choose No Timer to play without time pressure.
- Turn ocean animation off if movement is distracting.
- Turn sound effects on or off.
- Take as much time as you need in untimed mode.

Ocean Adventure Trail encourages colour recognition, counting, problem-solving, memory, observation and decision-making.
The game is designed to support inclusive participation and enjoyment rather than competition or speed.
Try Ocean Adventure Trail in a Real Swimming Pool
Ocean Adventure Trail can also inspire a supervised and adapted swimming pool activity.
Create an Accessible Ocean Adventure Course
Swimming instructors and support people can create a short route with floating checkpoints representing different ocean animals.
Participants can travel between checkpoints using their preferred supported movement, identify colours and animals, or direct a helper to complete activities.
Ensure the pool, entry and exit arrangements, water depth, supervision and equipment are appropriate for every participant. Never require submersion or unsupported movement.
