Addition & Subtraction

Addition and subtraction are important building blocks for maths and everyday life. Children use these skills when counting, shopping, sharing, measuring and solving everyday problems.

This section will include visual activities, interactive games, simple puzzles and challenges that help children build confidence from their first sums through to more advanced number work.

Maths should be flexible and accessible.
We aim to provide different ways to practise addition and subtraction, including visual learning, spoken activities, repetition, touch-friendly games and activities without time pressure.
