Support for your child + family

As parents, the hardest times are when we see our child struggling and don’t know how to help. It can be scary sending a child off to school where we feel powerless to support them and just want teachers to know them as we do. At Inclusive Education Partners we strongly believe that YOU are the expert on your child. We will learn from you about your child.

Forming a support team with your child’s school is essential to creating an education plan that promotes your child’s strengths and develops skills where they are needed. Children’s behaviour is communication and it is our job to figure out what each child is telling us. When everyone is working together with your child’s best interests at heart, your child will be able to participate, achieve and belong. All children deserve this opportunity.

Inclusive Education Partners offers the following individualised approach:

  • Assess your child’s social, emotional and behavioral strengths and challenges

  • Collaborate with your child’s teaching team and learning support coordinator to assess current learning objectives and develop new strategies

  • Advocate for your child’s rights in IWS, IEP and other school meetings

  • Engage your child in collaborative problem solving

  • Develop a social, emotional and behavioural curriculum for your child’s class, school or home

  • Connect you and your child with resources outside of school

  • Collaborate with your child’s psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist or other specialists

  • Provide individual or family therapy focused on social thinking and emotional regulation - office, home or school based. LEGO therapy groups also available.
